The Explorer Coat is a versatile waterproof jacket designed for riding, outdoor adventures and everyday wear. Engineered with advanced EQUIGUARD® technology, it delivers reliable protection against rain and wind while keeping you comfortable whatever the weather.

Featuring a standard fit with a lightweight quilted lining, the Explorer provides added warmth without feeling bulky, making it ideal for everyday outdoor use. The removable hood offers adaptable protection, while the two-way zip, rear riding vent and underarm zips provide enhanced comfort, ventilation and freedom of movement when in the saddle or on the go.

Designed with practicality in mind, it features multiple pockets, including a large rear storage pocket, offering plenty of space for your essentials. Shoulder carry straps allow you to comfortably carry the coat hands-free when not wearing it, while the innovative packaway design allows the coat to fold neatly into its own pocket, transforming into a convenient carry bag for travelling, storing in your vehicle or taking on the go.

Care & Materials

Product care:

Machine washable up to 30 degrees, however we recommend avoiding frequent washing, as this will affect the DWR (water-repellent) coating on your waterproof coat.

It is easy to keep your coat clean with just a wipe down (or even a hose down) with a damp cloth. For any grease-based marks spot cleaning with washing up liquid is recommended.

We recommend re-proofing your waterproof garments every few months, or whenever water stops beading on the surface. Before applying the re-proofer, wipe away any excess dirt and dampen the garment to ensure the treatment is absorbed evenly.

To get the best out of your EQUIDRY product we recommend using a wash and reproofing treatment specifically designed for waterproof clothing to maintain the performance and water-repellent finish.

It is vital, after washing you give your garment time to fully dry in a warm, well ventilated room, or tumble dry on a low heat setting (check the garment frequently to avoid overheating)

Avoid fabric conditioner, Do not dry clean, hot wash, or place your EQUIDRY on/above a direct heat source.

Helmet Compatible Removable Hood

Designed for versatility, the detachable hood is generously sized to fit comfortably over a riding helmet, with adjustable features at both the front and back for a secure, personalised fit. Easily remove it when not needed, giving you the freedom to adapt to changing weather conditions.

Internal Backpack Straps

Elasticated internal backpack straps allow you to slip your arms out and comfortably carry the coat on your back when you get too warm, keeping your hands free without having to put it down.

Adjustable Cuffs With Wrist Warmers

Designed for comfort and protection, the sleeves feature adjustable cuffs for a secure, personalised fit, along with soft internal wrist warmers with thumb holes to help keep your hands warm and prevent cold air and draughts from entering.

Optional Reflective Armbands

Reflective armbands fold out for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions and neatly fold away when not needed for a more discreet look.
